Description: Personalised Christmas card comprising a photographic portrait of J.H. Furneaux. He is wearing a blazer with PBC logo on breast pocket - almost certainly the uniform of the Prahran Bowling Club, of which he was Secretary in 1913. The card bears a printed message - with the season's compliments - and is signed by Furneaux. Furneaux attended Hawksburn State School when it opened in 1875 (refer General and historical review of the Hawksburn State School -1935), so he must have been born in the 1860s. In this photo, he appears to be aged at least 50 years, dating the photo to 1915 or later.
