Description: Size: 211 x 279 mm A view from Hoddle Street (which is either very muddy or strewn with horse manure) showing St. Philip's Anglican church and vestry which was built in bluestone in 1865 and demolished in 1968. To the left of the photo but somewhat obscured by trees is the vicarage, built in 1866 and still standing, and the Sunday School which has since burned down. All the buildings are fronted by a continuous picket fence with decorative gates and gate posts. The street lamp bears the name 'Hoddle Street'.
