Description: Photocopy of the front page of the illustrated Australian news of Monday 18 May 1874. The photocopy, 24.5 x 17.5cm, shows the Cerberus in dock at Williamstown. Cerberus was the first armoured warship built for Australia and was the most powerful warship of any of the Australian colonial navies. In bottom right corner of the photocopy it reads: 'presented to the Beaumaris Historiacal Trust by A.J. Hillhouse, 7 November 1960.'
