Description: This photograph shows an early Brighton Shop on the corner of Wilson and Carpenter Streets, diagonally opposite the Brighton Police Station. Building originally constructed c1858. The shop has been demolished and has been replaced by a residence. Was apparently the first meeting place of Brighton Borough Council
