Description: two color photographs 10.2cm by 15.1 CM - Section of steel plateway for horse carts carrying stones from Newlands quarry, donated by Jack Dihn (views of upper and lower surfaces). This is believed to be part of the plate laid in Newlands Rd and Murray Roads in 1893 for the use of carts carry stones from quarries. See also Search magazine Sept 2004
