Description: Garden party at Tandarook Homestead in 1880, organized by the daughter of the furst white settler south of Camperdown, Dr. Daniel Curdie. He settled about 3 miles from the township of Cobden along the Curdies River, which was named for him in 1840. Tandarook Homestead still stands today, although, sadly, it is very much neglected.
