Description: View of Warrnambool township during the days of early settlement, taken from Cannon Hill (looking east) on 22 May 1860, one of a series of panorama views taken on the same day. The two-storey building at left was the home of Captain Bemjamin Helpman, harbourmaster until 1869. His neighbour was collector of customs John Howard.
