Description: Portrait of William Rank (1834-1920). He left England for America in 1854. He built a mill in New York and worked for the Canadian Railways, building the first locomotive in Canada. He migrated to Australia and married Catherine Costello in 1865. They had 12 children - six boys and six girls.
