Description: B&W photograph. The Consul General for Japan visited Altona City on July 1st, 1969, to show films on Japan's Industrial Progress to senior students of Altona High School. His worship the Mayor Cr. W.L.J. Crofts, extended a Civic welcome to Mr. N. Imajo. Present in the Council Chamber are left to right, Mr. G. Shee, Principal Altona High School, the Town Clerk Mr. Waters, the Mayor Cr. Crofts, the Consul General Mr. Imajo and Mr. Jack Piggot the past president of the Rotary Club of Altona and a member of the Altona-Japanese Society. Title supplied by Cataloguer.
