Description: Image held by North Melbourne Library. Heffernan Lane between Little Bourke Street and Lonsdale Street. The Chung Wah Cafe, 11 Heffernan Lane, Melbourne. This building was constructed as the Wing Ching Café, 1891-1898, Quon Che On Cookshop , 1899-1915, Chung Wah Cookshop then Café 1916 -1974+. The Chung Wah Society had its headquarters at 14-16 Heffernan Lane - information supplied by Barbara Nichol.
