Description: Image provided by Tom McCarthy of Michigan. John (Jack) Cody was born in 1890. It is possible he never married and he died in 1961. He is buried with his parents in Melbourne General Cemetery. He was the son of John Cody and Mary Lawrence. The family lived in Hawke Street West Melbourne in the 1890s and ran a boarding house in King Street and later in Lonsdale Street.
