Description: Premier Albert Dunstan leaving rat infested cottage in North Melbourne. This image was taken by the slum abolition campaigner Oswald Barnett. Barnett captured inner Melbourne in glass lantern slide images which were used in presentations to raise funds for the creation of the Methodist Babies' Home, one of Connections UnitingCare's founding organisations. Barnett went on to become a significant figure in housing reform in Melbourne.
