Description: Black and white photograph of Toorak Road, looking west past Davis Street and the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel. J.W. Barker's painters' supply shop features on left side of photo, also R. Lechmere's shop. Barker and Lechmere were both there, according to the directories, from 1865 to 1877, though the hotel is first listed in 1867.
