Description: In 1856, Mr. Bogg purchased the property, on which at the time was a small cottage. This was metamorphosed into an imposing mansion, with storeyed wings built of rock, extensive stabling and a clock-tower. Over the years variegated maisonettes obtruded between the home and the river frontage before it was demolished. It was situated off the northern end of Vista Grove, Toorak. Pictured, a general view of the residence and portion of the gardens.
