Description: Taken in 1853, pictured is the original single-storey residence Orrong estate, which comprised 125 acres and was the property of Mr. Alfred Ross, who purchased it from Mr. Rae. The driveway to the residence is now Clendon Road. At the front of the residence are four adults and a gardener pruning the creepers.
