Description: Sepia-toned photo mounted on card of guests attending a ball in the town hall. Mayor William Chambers is prominent in the foreground. The hall is decorated with streamers and greenery - it may well be Christmas time. Alternatively (or additionally), if the man in robes, front RHS, is Cr Woodfull (Mayor 1921/22), then this function may have been the 'Mayoral changeover'.
