Description: View of north side of Victory Square in Armadale, off Ashleigh Road. These are the houses built for war widows following the first world war. Although the images are not dated, the hedges in the front gardens look well established, though the street lighting is relatively primitive. The photographer's address (on back) could also be used to date the photo. The photo matches with #9341 to form the image shown in #9343
