Description: Photoprint taken from a glass plate negative (or positive?) held by the Archives. Depicts a small timber public building, quite possibly the first Methodist Church at Mt Erica, in Trinian Street. See model of church in 'Church, community and change' p. 23 for comparison. This chapel was used until c.1870, though it is not known when the building was demolished.
