Description: Photo of a social excursion for visiting English cricketers, hosted by the Melbourne Football Club. Roy Dowsing, Assistant Secretary of the Club, is seated in the middle wearing a club blazer. To his right (our left) is footballer Jack Mueller. Directly beneath Mueller (man with receding hairline) sits the famous jockey Sir Scobie Breasley. Other known Melbourne men are Fred Fanning (back row, fourth from left, wearing club blazer), and Colin McLean standing next to him, also in club blazer. Sixth from the left in the back row is George Bickford.
