      Description:   In the river are five roofed platforms for the washing of wool.  Wool is laid out to dry on the ground, and there are a number of buildings, one with a large square chimney, on the slope.  Ramshackle fences run down to the river and much of the land is denuded, although the banks are well treed on the far side of the woolwashing works, including several large willows.
