Description: Image held by Richmond Library. After 2 1/2 years work, the Church St Bridge was opened by His Excellency the State Governor, the Earl of Stradbroke, on Tuesday 8th July 1924. A gathering of at least 20,000 people witnessed the ceremony. Published in the City of Richmond Report to the Council, 1923-24.
