Description: Image held at Richmond Library. Advertising from Richmond Guardian May 9, 1891. Drawing reproduced from an advertisement in the Richmond Guardian, showing an ornate two-storey shop building at 75 Swan St. Hats and other items of clothing can be glimpsed through the plate glass windows, and a small group of customers look on. The building is noted as 'recently erected' in the Guardian advertisement, which also gives a detailed description of the interior. A copy of the advertisement from which the image is taken is kept with the photograph.
