Description: Image held by Richmond Library. A posed photograph of McRae wearing a fur-trimmed robe and holding his mayoral hat. John McRae was Mayor of Richmond for the year 1885 -6. He served on Council for most of the 1880s and 90s. 'Foster & Martin, Artists & Photographers. 29 & 31 Collins St East, Melbourne' The library holds the original nineteenth-century print, in poor condition.
